I am traveling to Philadelphia via Amtrak and need to be transported to Philadelphia International Airport. What is the best, most affordable, form of transportation? Thank you!
Transportaton from Amtrak to Philadelphia International
At 30th Street Station, you just switch to the SEPTA R1 Regional Rail line. It will take you directly to the airport terminals. Trains run every 30 minutes most of the day. Takes about 20-25 minutes. The fare MAY be free if you show your AMTRAK ticket (they may have changed the rules recently). Otherwisee, the fare shoould be no more than $7.00 (depends on time of day, and if you buy your ticket on board or at the window).
When you get off your AMTRAK train, walk up the steps. This will take you to the main hall. Look for the car rental office. There is a ramp to the left of the office that takes you up to the SEPTA area of the station. Walk straight up the ramp. About 20 yards after teh top of the ramp, you will see the SEPTA ticket office on your left. Check at the ticket winddow for fare and schedule, and ask if there is a discount if you have an AMTRAK ticket.

In addition, Airport Trains leave at :04 and :34 past every hour from 30th Street. The track number escapes me, but it%26#39;s the middle staircase/platform.
