Hi
We%26#39;re looking to get away for a weekend with our very active 3 year old son. We%26#39;re from Long Island, NY so I would prefer not to have to travel longer than about 3 hours or so. I%26#39;m looking for something that has a lot to do at the resort, but still have things to do around the area. We were at Eden Resort in June and had a wonderful time, but had some issues when we were leaving, so not looking to stay there again. I looked at Great wolf lodge, but even though we are not being ';frugal'; on this trip, it just seems that it%26#39;s too much money right now being that my son is too young to enjoy most of it.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you!!!

Willow Valley Resort, south of Lancaster, has plenty of activities for kids. Enjoy!

If you%26#39;re looking to stay somewhere besides lLncaster, try Knoebels Grove Ameusement Resort in Elysburg, PA. It%26#39;s just off of I-80 near Bloomsburg. There is an 55-ride amusement park, water park and campground. Prices are very reasonable. Take a look at www.knoebels.com
Try the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA. We just got back from there. It is a very family friendly resort - they will even have an indoor water park completed in September. Their website is www.splitrockresort.com. There are many different lodging options also, from hotel rooms to one and two bedroom condos. My suggestion would be to stay at the Galleria hotel. Otherwise you%26#39;ll have to drive to the activities.
