How is the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel...
It%26#39;s on the north end of the downtown area. Not a horrible location, but it is kind of desolate at night. You would be better off at the Society Hill Sheraton or the Holiday Inn at 400 Arch. Both are very near daytime and nighttime activities.

It does seem to be more of a business destination than a leisure one, if that matters to you. I would definitely consider heading closer to the river if that is an option.
It%26#39;s a safe but not exciting location. It%26#39;s central to the business district, but there are many hotels that are closer to the historic district.
