We are considering going to Woodloch in August. Our kids are 7 %26amp; 10. We are unsure about the accomodations of Classic standard, deluxe lakeview or edgewater suites. Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Woodloch in the summer - accomodations
Hi, nj rx--The classic standard rooms are set up in blocks of 6-8 rooms per building, and have two double beds and a pullout couch in each. The buildings are located near to, but not attached to the main lodge. The deluxe lakeview rooms are larger than the standard, and also have two double beds, a pullout couch (actually a love seat) and one bathroom, also, these rooms have a balcony overlooking the lake. These rooms are in the main lodge building, which has the main dining room, the north lodge and night club (this building is where most of the indoor activities take place). There is also a video game room in this building (if your kids are interested.) Across from the night club is another larger game room, with video games, pool tables, ping pong tables on one floor, and an indoor basketball/sport court on the second floor. Edgewater suites are in another buiding a short walk or bus ride from the main lodge. These rooms consist of two rooms, one with a large sitting area with two full-size couches (one is a pull-out), small dining area, butler%26#39;s pantry set-up (sink, refrigerator, coffee maker), and the other room has two queen-sized beds, both rooms have t.v.%26#39;s. These rooms also offer two full baths, one with a stall shower, the other with a tub-shower combo. These rooms have lake-front balconies as well. The indoor/outdoor pools, and gym are in this building. There are also Mountain Laurel rooms, which are even bigger than the Edgewater Suites, which contain full kitchens, if you are interested in those, but, you must pay four full adult rates if your family wants to stay there.
When are you planning on going in August? We have been going in August for about 18 years now. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
Hope this helps!
Woodloch in the summer - accomodations
We have stayed in Greenbriar for the last 20 years. That%26#39;s attached to the main dining room and nightclub. We love it, and over the years it has held anywhere from two adults to four adults and 3 children.
Our room (yes, we%26#39;ve been in the exact same room for years!) has two sinks, one in the changing area/closet, and one in the bathroom, which is great for when two people are getting ready for dinner at the same time.
Have fun!
