My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary the week after Christmas. We were married in Hershey, PA (where we%26#39;re from) and are looking for a lodge similar to the Hershey Lodge as far as ambience and holiday charm. We would also like to ski, sled, ice skate, etc... a good mix of relaxation with outdoor adventure. We would prefer to drive, so we%26#39;re looking for a location within driving distance (no more than 6 hours). Does anyone have any suggestions for a romantic lodge in the Northeast? Any help would be appreciated!

Caanan Valley in Davis, WV.....what a great place...my husband %26amp; I stayed at Deerfield Village in Davis, WV.up in the mountains, plenty of places to visit. we rented a whole house..... just beautiful /actually called a villa .......you have it all to yourselves, 2 bedroom , 2 baths, back porch with grill, washer%26amp; dryer, dishwasher, just everything included. Peaceful and quiet. Blackwater falls,Dolly Sods * lookover the mts. at 4400 ft. Just wonderful.
